Most banks in Poland require you to sing a preliminary agreement for a property first. Then you can apply for a mortgage. At some banks it’s possible to obtain a pre-approval fo before signing a preliminary agreement.

The timeframe for a mortgage application varies from person to person and from bank to bank. It depends on your unique situation as well as the speed of the bank.
Your mortgage could be ready in 2-3 weeks, but this isn’t always possible. You may have a complicated situation which requires a lot of back and forth with the bank, or the bank you apply to has a long application process. A good reference point is about 4-6 weeks but at some banks it can take more time.
